Carlos Cavazo is a Mexican-American guitarist who is best known for his time in the heavy metal band Quiet Riot. He was born on July 8, 1957, in Mexico City, Mexico. Cavazo joined Quiet Riot in 1982, replacing the band's previous guitarist Randy Rhoads.
During his time with Quiet Riot, Cavazo played on the band's most successful album, "Metal Health," which was released in 1983 and featured the hit songs "Cum On Feel the Noize" and "Metal Health (Bang Your Head)." The album reached the top of the Billboard charts and is considered a classic in the heavy metal genre.
Cavazo continued to play with Quiet Riot through several lineup changes and albums until he left the band in 2003. He has also been a member of other bands, including Snow and 3 Legged Dogg. Cavazo is known for his melodic guitar playing and his contributions to the heavy metal genre.
